4th of July

4th of July was pretty chill this year. Me and the boys are in California getting ready for Courtney's wedding this Saturday and Adam is in Kansas City since he started school July 1st. Wedding prep is in full gear and we forgot multiple times that it was the 4th July! However, we did manage to remember long enough to go buy some fireworks for the boys, and I remembered to pack matching red white and blue outfits-- what a relief:)

Drew only did part of one sparkler. He didn't love doing it, but at least he tried it.

Jackson loved watching the spinning/fluorescent fireworks.

So glad Josh and Jenna are here too! They came and shared in the fun so Grayson could enjoy his 1st 4th of July!

At 9:00pm we drove over to a friends yard to watch the city fireworks. The boys enjoyed them and it was just the right length before they got bored.

Jackson now recognized the American flag and says "Hey, that is our country flag! And there are the stars for Kansas and California!"
