April showers brings....

Well this time they brought a man cub! Or I guess you could say a cute, darling, precious baby. But I will leave that stuff for when Jenn writes on the blog. Since she is busy I will stick my half of the story. For those that have had the birds or the bees, to avoid all possible legal action I want to clear the record by saying that I know that it wasn't April showers that brings babies but we have to keep this website clean for all of the young 'uns.

I was studying for a test I had on the next day and it was 10:00 PM. I was lacking motivation. And like any good son, Jackson bailed me out! Jenn walked into the office and told me that she had been having contractions for two hours!! We were both a bit surprised since she had been to the doctor only the day before (Tuesday) and she wasn't dilated at all. We called the hospital and they told us to come on in. My first thought was YES! no test tommorow for me and no more studying tonight. Of course this was in my mind and Jenn insisted that I bring my books so that I could study while we wait. "Yeah right, are you kidding me"--in my mind again. "No that's okay I said.

So we get to the hospital at about 11PM and then all the fun begins and JACKSON IS BORN at 2:03 PM the next day (Thursday, April 10th.)

NOTE: As you can see we had to keep the website PG, but be assured, Jackson is ALL man, even regardless of the mandatory hat the hospital gives that has both PINK and BLUE, they didn't have any pure manly blue ones, we will have to change that.

This is him just seconds after traversing the treacherous birth canal. They are cleaning him off in the room right in front of us!
