Drew's Surgery, Round 2

We knew fairly quickly, about a month, that the first surgery hadn't completely worked. His right eye started gooing up again with a cold that he had and seemed to be draining poorly. There was a slight improvement although it was obvious it hadn't been fixed. We talked with the Doctor at a followup and decided that the left was looking alright, but the right one needed probing again. They would do the exact same procedure where they stick the needle down and try to open it up.
Again, since he had to fast, he was given an earl appointment since he is so small. He was a champ again. Adam was able to be there when we admitted him but after we left Drew in the pre-op Adam had to head to clinic.
All went as planned and coming out of the anesthesia was fairly similar to the last time. The nurses were quick to help when I asked and we managed to get home without a hitch.









They had to break his little nose bones again. Love his heart. His bloody nose seemed a bit worse but all in all, things went as planned.

**It has now been almost 6 months. For the most part his eyes seem to be just fine. There are times when it seems a bit gooey, but more often that not, they are just fine.
