To say the least he had a rough start coming into the world a month early. In the beginning it was just a lot of grunting and they though maybe he didn't get all the fluid out of his lungs because his delivery was so quick. Unfortunately, with time they found that he had a collapsed lung. He was given 100% oxygen in hopes of helping the lung. We had family fast and the lung began to improve, but chest x-rays showed some pneumonia that would require at least 7 days of antibiotics.
He made it home after a 9 day hospital stay.We were all so grateful to see him home and healthy.
Mom offered to watch Jackson and Drew while Adam and I drove to Kansas to try and find a place to live. She said she was fine with it because the only obligation she had was to Angela when the baby came, but that wasn't for another 3 or 4 weeks so we would be just fine. Little did we know... Tyler made his entrance early and mom had all 3 of Angela's girls and our 2 boys. We were blessed to find a place quickly and head home a day after Tyler's birth.
We did a lot of looking and it was challenging deciding what area was best for us and the boys. Adam will have to commute at least a 1/2 hour one way to school, but we felt good about the house, landlord, and area otherwise. We are anxious to see why the Lord wants us here, because we sure do feel like we are supposed to be here.
